Arland was appointed as head of Accounting and Taxation Services when he joined Midboard in 2008. He is responsible for developing this department and ensuring that Midboard is able to provide a professional and up-to-date service to its clients. Over the past 30 years, Arland has gathered considerable experience in the profession and in various commercial positions, having worked for Old Mutual, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dunlop and Elvey Security Technologies. Arland is a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and as a member is required to comply with their mandatory requirements with regards to Continuing Professional Education. This program ensures that members stay abreast of changes in corporate and tax law, as well as developments in the business world. He has recently completed a post-graduate diploma in tax strategy at the University of the Free State. |
